Container transport to central asia — a convenient solution without transshipment
Container transport to Central Asia is a highly effective solution for larger shipments and for those where minimizing transshipments is essential. Using 40-foot containers enables seamless delivery from the European Union to countries like Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan without changing the transport unit.
3 features of container transport:
No transshipment — the container is loaded at the sender’s site and travels directly to the receiver, reducing the risk of damage and simplifying logistics.
High load capacity — a container can carry up to 25 tons, making it more efficient than LTL or FTL transport.
Eco-friendliness — rail container transport is one of the most environmentally friendly international logistics solutions.
3 stages of delivery via the Northern Route:
1. Loading the container at the sender’s site
An empty container is collected from the Małaszewicze terminal and positioned for loading. The exporter loads the cargo and completes export customs clearance.
2. Rail transport via the Northern Route
The loaded container returns to Małaszewicze, is placed on a rail platform, and shipped to a receiving station in Central Asia.
3. Receiver’s operations on site
At the receiving station, the receiver arranges import customs clearance, unloads the goods, and returns the empty container to the terminal.
